Categories of Multiple Murderers:

Multiple murderers are those who’ve killed more than one victim. They’re classified into three categories based on distinct patterns.

—————————————————

1. Mass Murderers

A mass murderer kills 4+ victims at a single location (usually) during one unceasing period of time. Mass murder can be done by a single person or a group. Murderers who kill off several members of their family also fall into this category.

—————————————————

2. Spree Killers

Those who are spree killers murder 2+ victims but in different l ocations during their spree. Spree killings are considered to be a single event due to the fact that there’s no “cooling-off” period between the homicides.

—————————————————

3. Serial Killers

A serial killer murders 3+ victims, however, they kill each of their victims on different occasions. Serial killers generally select their victims, have cooling-off periods between their killings, and often meticulously plan their crimes. Although most serial killers stay in the same general geographic area, some travel to find their victims, such as Ted Bundy for example. Serial killers also display certain patterns that can be deftly recognized by law enforcement involved in solving the case.

Contempt, Disappointment, & Disdain: The Demise of Clarnell Stage

Clarnell Stage mentally abused Kemper and seemed to relish mortifying him, as a matter of fact. She travestied him, constantly calling him a “weirdo” and telling him that no woman would ever go out with him. Clarnell coerced Kemper, who was 10 years old at the time, to sleep in a locked basement because she was convinced Edmund would harm his own sisters. Reasonably enough, Kemper execrated his mother with a zealousness. Kemper commenced acting peculiarly, torturing and killing felines and other neighborhood animals amongst other acts.

As he got older, Kemper fought perpetually with his mother. He moved in with a friend as soon as he preserved enough money because of the constant fighting with Clarnell. In his mind, Kemper knew that he could avoid his mother, but he could never avoid the murderous rage that was waiting to manifest itself.

Kemper’s homicidal rampage was spread out over a year. He snatched the lives of 6 young female hitchhikers. Kemper would pick up the unwary girls, take them to sequestered areas, and shoot, stab, and strangle them. The gruesome acts of violence included dismemberment and even necrophilia. Kemper moved back in with his mother during the killings, bringing some of the corpses of his victims back to her house for his own sexual gratification, and even burying one of his victims in his mother’s garden.

April 21, 1973: While Clarnell was sleeping placidly, Kemper silently snuck into her room, caved in her head with a claw hammer, and slashed her throat open. Kemper also decapitated her and used her head as a dart board. He also ended up murdering his mother’s best friend, Sally Hallett, later on during that day. Kemper invited Hallett over for dinner and a movie. After showing up, she was strangled as well as decapitated. Kemper stole her vehicle and fled California, driving until he reached Pueblo, Colorado, where he phoned the police and confessed to murdering his mother and Hallett.

This video clip captures a glimpse of Richard Kuklinski’s anger during an interview with forensic psychiatrist Dr. Park Dietz for a famous HBO documentary called The Iceman Tapes: Inside The Mind Of A Mafia Hitman.

Though Richard Kuklinski was convicted of 6 murders, the true number of victims he killed is thought to be over 200+ due to his own claims. Despite his substantial body count, he is technically not considered to be a serial killer. Kuklinski was involved with members of the American Mafia (La Cosa Nostra), specifically the DeCavalcante crime family of New Jersey, and the Gambino crime family of New York City.

The Horrors at 23 Cranley Gardens:

Crime scene photographs taken inside the home of Scottish serial killer/necrophiliac Dennis Andrew Nilsen, also known as the “Muswell Hill Murderer” and the “Kindly Killer” to the public. Nilsen killed at least 12-15 young men and boys in a sequence of murders that occurred between 1978 and 1983 in London, England. His M.O. was targeting students or homeless men whom he picked up from pubs and brought over to his home. Nilsen murdered by strangulation and drowning his victims to death, and disposed of the bodies by butchering and burying many of them in a bonfire.

Nilsen continued the murders after eventually moving to an upstairs home, though he found it quite laborious to dispose the remains of his victims. As a solution, he had suitcases full of human organs stored in his closet and plastic bags of human remains stored under the floorboards, and Nilsen’s neighbors began to notice the awful stench creeping around inside the property.

Nilsen was finally arrested by police due to his attempt of flushing the remains of his victims down the toilet, which resulted in a sewerage block, and drain inspectors discovering the human remains after being called to handle the problem. When his house was searched, police discovered three decapitated heads in a cupboard, the hidden human organs and remains, and they also found a number of bodies at Nilsen’s former residence.
